DAIRYCHAIN inception workshop held in Ghana
The DAIRYCHAIN kick-off workshop was hosted by the University of Education (UEW), Winneba and took place at the Silicon Hotel from 17th-23rdNovember, 2013. Sixteen (16) participants drawn from Egerton University- Kenya, ObafemiAwolowo University-Nigeria and University of Education, Winneba-Ghana attended.
In his opening address, Prof. H. K. Dapaah(Principal of College of Agriculture Education, UEW) congratulated member universities involved in the EDULINK II Project and emphasized on the importance of the project while encouraging participants to work harder for an accelerated total realization of set goals and needed impact from the project in the society.
Prof. Alexander K. Kahi and Dr. C. Wasike took the participants through the various components of the project. Each partner University made presentation on overview of their respective universities and expectations for the project.
Partner Universities pledged their unflinching support and commitment to work hard for total realization of the goals of the project and much needed impact.The workshop ended with a tour of the University of Education, Winneba, Mampong-campus. Participants were welcomed by Prof. H. K. Dapaah, the Principal
of College of Agriculture Education and toured various facilities.
