CoELIB hosts DTC online Dairy Training Platform
The training took place at the Centre of Excellence for Livestock Innovation and Business (CoELIB),
Egerton University on 20th September 2016 as a way of introducing participants to online transfer of knowledge in Dairy. The course had a total of 18 participants drawn from Agricultural training institutions in Kenya. This training was facilitated by Han Tellegen and Jan Gijselhart from Dairy Training Centre, The Netherlands.
The participants were taken through an in depth training on how to use the e-learning platform, the contents that institutions offering dairy programmes will have an access to and use it to train their students/ farmers. They were also provided with accounts to exercise the platform, upload modules and contents. Content developed and uploaded by DTC is accessible for use by the trainers.
